Proud, proud, proud! Looking back at our first tournament
More than 60 players, a well-stocked prize table and a club that put itself on the Belgian board game map. Looking back at our first tournament.
We look back on a successful first board game tournament! Together with the Belgian Federation for Simulation Games we organised a tournament that counts for the Belgian competition.
We welcomed more than 60 players and put our Tienen club on the Belgian board game map. Fellow players were very positive, and our efforts to serve a good meal were clearly appreciated.
In time we want this to become a tournament players look forward to, and this was a great first step.
About ten DoKaPi members tried a tournament day for the first time. You don't have to play like a champion to enjoy it: we bring the competition into DoKaPi, but joining is never required.
In the national competition our club is in a fine 4th place, and some of our players lead the ranking for individual games. We will tell you more when the competition ends.
Many thanks again to our sponsors, who made a well-stocked prize table possible!
